Great tips guys. Can’t wait to see what my battery life looks like now. Question… Do you have similar tips for watch? And, should I charge my iPhone and Iwatch every night regardless of the battery status? I like the reassurance that I have maximum battery capacity when start my day.

I came from Android 6 mo ago & since Android has a bazillion tweaks, the 1st thing I did was go thru every iOS setting. Most Apple people never bother going thru setting, they have no idea how much more functional their phone can be. Thanks, guys!

most of those tips are researched very badly or straight up wrong. most people that buy a smartphone don’t want to turn it into a dumb paperweight. especially the location stuff. Apple collects it once every few minutes anyways and then hands it over to all the apps that requested it. it’s not like every app is given direct access to the GPS module. if you have one app tracking your location or all of them doesn’t make a difference. how do I know that ? it would show up in the battery statistics if it did drain your battery..

Amazing results on 12 mini. Thanks for these tips. An additional tip is to create a shortcut on home screen to turn on/off location services. I keep it off all the time, and it’s a simple press of a button to turn it on when going out.
If one does not want their iPhone to run clunky overall, there is no need to update iOS unless a necessary app requires it or runs clunky; so, turn off auto iOS update.

Actually WiFi calling does work in the us. It works for if you’re at someone’s house or location that has no service but they have WiFi. You connect to the WiFi and boom WiFi calling

This was great! Question: Will changing the locator setting for my camera to "when in use" instead of "always" effect the ability for my iphone to know where I am and make those coold slide show videos when I’m on a trip? I kind of like that feature.

Optimize battery charging has to be the worst setting ever put on a phone. Yea guys go ahead and turn that setting on if you want your phone to charge really really slow and never charge past 80%
